The policeman was hit by a fireball of Visser Three and boiled away to atoms.“ Marco: "Just like the one who detected us. That's good, because that way they don't know it was us who roughed them up down there.“ Jake: "Poor Tom. He'll probably never get to know that I was the tiger. He'll never know how close our rescue mission failed. Now he's a Controller again, the Yeerk is in his head once more.“ Cassie: "Tell me, where is Tobias? The last time I saw him, we were down in the cave.“ Marco: "Don't ask me. But as a hawk he surely didn't have any problems to fly out of the cave. Surely he went straight home.“ Cassie: "Home. That's where I want to go now, too. I feel totally battered.“ Rachel: "Me too. We'll see you tomorrow at school.“ Jake: "Yes, the school. It'll never be the same to us again. Everytime we sit in the classroom, we'll have to think about the horrible secret beneath our feet. Good night.“ Rachel: "Yes, good night.“ Marco: "See you tomorrow.“ Cassie: "Sleep well.“ |
