I wanted to give a quick shout out to the Animorphs: A Graphic Novel Project. It’s being drawn by the fabulous Char Reed. So far, everything looks fantastic. I eagerly await her updates whenever she has a new panel to share with us (via Twitter and her Blog), so I thought I’d pass it along to you guys as well.
At the same time, there is also a new project started for an animated series, called Animorphs: A Second Chance. I believe they are looking for artists, editors, voice actors, etc to get going. They have a Youtube account set up, and the project is being lead by Capnnerefir.
Both projects are added in the Projects section (which I randomly decided to re-organize today). All info regarding both projects, including contact info, has been posted up in there. 🙂

It’s been a little slow there because of the holidays, but I will rework the updating frequency so I don’t disappoint you fine folks ;D

Can’t believe I found this site! I still don’t know many people who love Animorphs!
For me, I wish I had the whole collection, but oh, well. The reprint will be good news, for me to collect my missing books.
You should do a post: “Why do we love Animorphs?”
And get your site visitors to contribute – we all have our reasons.
My reason – because it celebrates humanity.
It celebrates human emotion, choices, maturity, strength, conflict. From Jake’s stressed leadership, to Rachel’s violence, Marco’s “humor as defense” mechanism, Tobias’ struggle, Cassie’s compassion and Ax’s solitude, the issues are so nuanced and relatable that it draws us, the reader, right in.
You should do a post like that, to coincide with the re-release, to help us rediscover what made us fall in love with the books in the first place!

Cant wait until Animorphs a graphic novel and Animorphs: a second chance.
i’ve been a fan of animorphs since 2008 when my libraryan introduced me to it

I got re-re-obsessed a few days ago and I just said yesterday that it should be re-released and they should redo the TV series… but this is better than I hoped! *insert fangirl scream*
