Poparena, of the Opinionated Animorphs Book Guide, recently did an audio interview with Ron Oliver, who worked as a writer and director for several of the Animorphs TV episodes during the show’s run. The interview covers many behind-the-scene insights to the show’s budget, actors, crew, creative decisions, and effects.

The interview is approximately 40 minutes long, so for those who want to skip ahead, the Animorphs TV discussion begins around the 8:50 mark. (Source: Animorphs LiveJournal)
Also, following up from our previous post, Michael Grant has now posted several Q&A video responses at Youtube (Here is the first one). Fans of the GONE series will appreciate it the most. There is also an answer to the Gone TV/Movie situation, which hasn’t really changed from last time, but is there for those who are interested:
That covers everything for now. The relaunch is also almost here, so I hope everyone has their pre-orders ready! Until next time!
I can’t wait to listen to that interview!

I hate MegaUpload. The stupid website keeps disconnecting my laptop from the Internet, and they won’t let you download more than twice. Now I can’t download the MP3 at all on this machine. (Unless I wait, I guess.)

Hey, do you think he would mind if I uploaded the Animorphs part of this to youtube? It wouldn’t just be audio either, it’d have video/pictures to accompany everything too.

@Kyle: Please do! I don’t want to have to deal with MegaUpload.

@Kyle: Since it’s Poparena’s interview, I can’t answer for him. He has his own Animorphs Youtube Channel, so I have no idea if he plans on releasing it on there or not. I would ask him directly, via his Youtube: youtube.com/user/poparena

I plan to post the full interview on my Youtube page at a future date. In the meantime, Hirac Delest can host the mp3 on their site if they wish.

Please find a good producer, writer, and director! I really want Gone to be a movie, but don’t let anyone persuade you about the age of the characters. I’m very close to the age of the characters in this book and I absolutley love the series! If it ever became a movie I would LOVE to be a part of the cast, I’d mostly want to be Diana. I look a lot like her description and love to act. I don’t live near any movie producing areas, but would love to send a audition tape in! Please keep trying and I know you’ll find the perfect Crew! Good Luck Michael!

I really think you should do a tv series that has some already known actors but introduces a bunch of new young actors. It would be a great opportunity for tons of teens

Ok I really want to audition for Lara, it’s like my dream. Can you please do audition tapes as a way to audition? It would be completely amazing if that could happen so if anyone important is reading PLEASE consider it. Thanks !!!
