This is, without a doubt, the coolest thing anyone has ever sent me! I got it in my mail today, and was caught completely off-guard by what was inside. They were sent from Jenny (aka AniJen21), who offered to order me the advanced relaunch books from the Scholastic Store sale we had a while back.
She gave me some random excuse and told me that they’d be coming in late, but it turned out that she was being totally sneaky and getting them signed by K.A. Applegate and Michael Grant at their first-ever autograph session together in the L.A.Times: Festival of Books. Here they are:

(For example, Mike Bastoli of The Pixar Blog gets lots of free benefits from Pixar, including at least one tour a few months ago, despite living in… Canada, I think?)

But now I’m jealous >_< I want an autographed volume of Animorphs toooooo!! AniJen should have make them sign a hundred of their books and send them to some RAFians 😛

I’m sooo jealous! Animorphs was such a big part of my childhood, and with it working it’s way back into my young (?–I’m 26…does that still count?) adulthood, it would be totally awesome to have a book signed!
I guess the closest I’ll have is to pure, unfiltered fandom awesome is my signed X-Men:Evolution poster and
art book by Steven Gordon. Eventhough that doesn’t have anything to do with Animorphs. Enjoy your books!!
