Scholastic has updated the Official Animorphs Website with a new writing contest for the relaunch! The grand prize? Animorphs #1-6 autographed by K.A Applegate, and a Nintendo 3DS! Here’s a quick look:
To enter the contest, submit an essay of 250 words or less answering the question: If you could choose one animal morph for yourself, which would it be and why?
Mail the entry with your name, age, address, phone, and email to:

All entries must be received by March 1, 2012.Only one entry per person. Contest is open only to legal residents of the USA ages 8-14. The winner may also be asked to attend and participate in media or public relations events designated by Scholastic.

There are 3 animals I would be:
1. I would be a panda bear, because its black and white fur coloring is symbolic of the duality inherent in existence, and within my own troubled soul. It is the Yin & Yang of morphs.
2. I would morph a small lemur, because a lemur is one of the most adorable creatures that has ever emerged from the chaotic wisdom of Evolution, and everybody would like me…nobody dislikes a lemur. Also a lemur is good at climbing and clambering, excellent for engaging in espionage against Yeerk demons.
3. I would morph Danny Devito, a humorous actor, and when the real Danny Devito was making an appearance on a live daytime talk show, I would appear in the background, causing mass confusion and bewilderment. It would be the greatest prank in this history of prankdom, and I would be so amused!

I just turned 21 years old and I already have a Nintendo 3DS. I’m also not much of a writer. I guess this isn’t for me.
