SUMMARY
There's been an accident. Someone crash-landed a Yeerk Bug fighter. And the Yeerks have been trying to cover it up - quickly. But not before Tobias spots it. So the Animorphs and Ax decide to steal the ship to show the world that Earth has been invaded.
That's when things go terribly wrong. Before they know it, Jake, the Animorphs, and Ax find themselves in another place. Another time. And there's no way home...

- ANIBASE: Katherine Applegate admits that when she reached this book she had a major crisis of confidence. She felt that she had lost control of the book and run out of ideas. Of course, that was anything but the case. At the time, though, K.A. thought, "Well, that's it for me!". Luckily for all her fans, K.A. regained her confidence and went on to produce a total of 60 Animorph titles!

CHARACTERS
ANIBASE: While lost in the jungle, the Animorphs meet Polo, the leader of the a jungle tribe that wants to rid its home of the aliens and American humans that have invaded it. At first distrusting of the Animorphs, Polo and his men come to the rescue later on when Jake and the others are attacked by Visser Three.
MORPHS
Jake Spider Monkey, and Jaguar. Rachel Spider Monkey, and Jaguar. Cassie Spider Monkey, and Jaguar. Marco Spider Monkey, and Jaguar. Tobias None. Ax Spider Monkey, and Jaguar Visser Three Lerdethrak.
ALIENS
Lerdethrak
The Lerdethrak is a creature from the Hork-Bajir home world. It looks like a giant mess of living vines attached to a drooping, blue-rimmed mouth.
TERMS
Sario Rip
A hole in the space-time caused by a massive, precise explosion that can send a person forward or backward in time.
